GOHA implemented B2B SEO and Answer Engine Optimization for WIN Flavor, a Vietnamese supplier of natural flavors and food ingredients. The goal was not simply to improve rankings. WIN Flavor also needed to appear when international clients searched for suppliers through Google and AI tools.
In 2026, the website recorded 2,560 AI referral traffic visits. This AI traffic segment approximately 145.23% growth in leads.

1. Context and challenges
WIN Flavor operates in the B2B food-ingredient market, where clients carefully review products, applications, specifications and supplier capabilities before making contact.
Traditional SEO had helped WIN Flavor secure 657 keywords in Google’s Top 10. However, strong search rankings did not guarantee that ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini would include the company in a supplier shortlist.
Clients may ask AI:
- Which Vietnamese manufacturers supply reliable natural beverage flavors?
- Which food-ingredient suppliers support bulk orders?
- Which certificates should clients check when choosing a food flavor supplier?
The new challenge was to help Google, AI systems and clients understand who WIN Flavor is, what the company supplies and which evidence supports its credibility.

2. Project objectives
GOHA focused on three objectives:
- Maintain and expand organic visibility on Google.
- Increase the likelihood of being mentioned, cited and recommended by AI.
- Turn traffic into consultation requests and qualified B2B leads.
SEO and AEO were implemented as two layers of the same system. SEO helps customers discover WIN Flavor in search results. AEO helps the brand appear in AI-generated answers.

3. GOHA’s strategy
3.1. Clarifying brand and product entities

GOHA standardized important information across WIN Flavor’s key pages:
- Who the company is and where it operates.
- Its main products and applications.
- Its markets and B2B customers.
- Product specifications, certificates and supporting documents.
Consistent information makes the company easier for clients to verify and reduces the risk of AI systems confusing WIN Flavor with a similar entity.
3.2. Building content around the buying journey

Content was organized around the client’s actual needs:
- Awareness: Learn about flavors, extracts, powders and their F&B applications.
- Consideration: Compare products, specifications, dosage and technical requirements.
- Conversion: Review supplier capabilities and certificates, then request advice.
Important sections began with a short answer before adding detail. Tables, bullets and headings made information easier to read, verify and cite.
3.3. Optimizing for Google and AI

GOHA combined in-depth content, internal links, entities and structured data. Organization and Article schema helped clarify the company and content type. FAQPage schema was only appropriate when matching questions and answers were visible on the page.
Schema was not treated as a shortcut to citations. It supported information already explained clearly in the content.
The strategy combined Technical SEO, Semantic SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization). Technical SEO supported crawlability, indexability and site architecture; Semantic SEO strengthened topical authority, entity relationships and search intent alignment; AEO optimized answer-first content, passage-level relevance and retrievability by RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems. Performance was tracked through AI visibility, brand mentions, citations, recommendations, AI traffic and qualified leads.
4. Results
These results came from a combined SEO and AEO program. AEO should not be treated as the sole cause of all growth.

5. Lead-generation impact: AI traffic created more than visits
GA4 recorded 2,560 AI traffic visits and lead volume increased by approximately 145.23% compared with the comparison period.
The main AI traffic sources were:
- ChatGPT: 66.3%.
- Perplexity: 26.1%.
Lead growth of approximately 145.23% came from the following tracked sources:
- Hotline Click.
- Messenger Click.
- Zalo Click.
- Sample Request Submission.
- Form Success Page View.
A number of AI-accessed landing pages have recorded conversions from both domestic and international customers:
- /mqflavor-nguoi-ban-dong-hanh-cung-liwayway-tren-hanh-trinh-chinh-phuc-thi-truong-gan-nua-ti-usd
- /cung-cap-huong-lieu-thuc-pham-tai-tphcm
- /danh-muc/huong-lieu-thuc-pham
- /en/danh-muc/food-flavor
- /en/danh-muc/food-flavor/natural-flavor
- /en/san-pham/flavors-cranberry-flavour
- /en/san-pham/red-bull-flavor-powder
In addition, the landing pages attracting the most AI traffic were all in-depth market research reports:
- /thi-truong-sua-hat-viet-nam (ChatGPT traffic: 112, Perplexity traffic: 37)
- /toan-canh-thi-truong-ca-phe-hoa-tan-viet-nam (ChatGPT traffic: 99, Perplexity traffic: 33)
- /thi-truong-nuoc-giai-khat-viet-nam (ChatGPT traffic: 96, Perplexity traffic: 65)
- /thi-truong-snack-viet-nam-xu-huong-huong-lieu (ChatGPT traffic: 93)
- /nghien-cuu-thi-truong-sua-viet-nam (Perplexity traffic: 91, ChatGPT traffic: 85)
These are site-wide actual recorded figures. Deep content combined with SEO played a crucial role in capturing this high-quality traffic segment.
7. AI chatbot visibility: a new growth layer
GOHA tested AEO brand visibility in the international market using natural conversational prompts that accurately simulate the international B2B client’s journey (Marketing Funnel):
- Awareness Stage (Discovery): “What are the top 5 food flavor manufacturing companies in Vietnam?”, “List the best natural extract suppliers for the F&B industry in Vietnam.”, “Which flavor houses in Vietnam specialize in coffee and tea extracts?”

- Consideration Stage (Comparison & Niche): “Compare top flavor suppliers in Vietnam specializing in natural extracts for the beverage industry.”, “Which flavor companies in Vietnam provide dairy ingredients and meat processing flavors?”, “Differences between natural and synthetic flavors for beverage production from Vietnam suppliers.”

- Decision Stage (Certifications & Capabilities): “Find a reliable flavor partner in Vietnam with ISO and FSSC 22000 certificates.”, “Looking for a food flavor manufacturer in Vietnam capable of customizing natural flavors for scale production.”, “List of Vietnamese flavor companies supplying bulk savory ingredients for the snack industry.”

Across different query types (non-branded supplier searches, direct questions, commercial comparisons, etc.), each prompt had one clear intent and remained unchanged across repeated tests. The team recorded the engine, mode, date and location and used fresh conversations to control context.
Three outcomes were tracked separately:
- Mention: The AI named WIN Flavor.
- Citation: The AI linked to the WIN Flavor website.
- Recommendation: The AI suggested WIN Flavor as an option.
For each result, GOHA also recorded the cited URL, the claim supported by the citation and competing sources appearing in the answer.
8. A content system that supports real growth
WIN Flavor’s content was developed for both target audiences and search systems:
- Explain products and applications.
- Provide specifications, dosage and technical information.
- Answer questions from R&D and procurement teams.
- Clarify certificates and supplier capabilities.
- Guide readers toward consultation or product inquiries.
A useful article should do more than attract traffic. It should help customers understand the product, reduce supplier-evaluation risk and move closer to making contact.
9. What value did GOHA create for WIN Flavor?
GOHA focused on four layers of value:
- Maintain a strong SEO foundation with 657 Top 10 keywords.
- Build in-depth content around the B2B buying journey.
- Expand visibility from Google to ChatGPT, Perplexity and other answer engines.
- Connect visibility with conversions and qualified B2B leads.

The most important result is not traffic or citations alone. WIN Flavor is building a system that helps customers find, understand, trust and contact the brand across Google and AI Search.
